That didn't seem whiny at all, and was so beautifully written. It's neat to get an inside look at what a pregnant woman is feeling, thinking, and experiencing. And you are soooo beautiful!!! I know you don't feel that way, but trust me, you look gorgeous, happy, and what a neat way to do that picture!

Thanks for the update... feel free to "whine" to us anytime. Best wishes!!

Oh, and since I don't have kids yet, I rely on people like you to share their experience and get me prepared for my hope-to-be-soon experience. :)

Okay - you are such a beautiful pregnant woman! I know much of "the little things" you talk about - and sometimes I lay awake at night wondering how we are going to handle two kiddos. And going back to work after six weeks. And we still don't have a name. And is part time enough for my job. Or too much for my family.

And it doesn't help when I have people say to me, "Wow. Do you think you can really do all of that?" Um, no. Thank you for reminding me, though! :)

Praise God that He holds us in His hands, and that He is carrying us each step of the way. You will be a great mother, and the transition will tricky, as most transitions are. We will make it though - perhaps things will look differently than we envisioned them to be, but maybe it'll be more beautiful than we pictured, and we will feel more fulfilled than we ever thought possible.

Not whiny at all. Its lovely to hear women's real experiences, it means we are all in this at some point and its totally normal.... Good luck to you.... and hey, let's job share when I move to Austin! We got our visa interview in April, so we will be moving this summer. Can't wait to try some of these yummy resturants you have reviewed. Take care!

I don't think that sounded whiny! Since I have no experience in this area, I have few words of wisdom other than to affirm what you said about God knowing what is best for you and your family and even though you won't know everything about being parents, that's all part of this whole 'life' thing that we're all struggling to figure out. We are so excited for you guys (and you won't lose me as a friend!).
