I present to you, the progress of Jude’s room:

We forgot to take a picture before we started taping off the stripe but this is pretty much what it look like. It was the only room in our house that hadn’t been painted. It did, however, have guitar hooks all over the walls because in it’s previous life, this room was the music room and the office. And yes, that is our $20 Craigslist Ikea crib. It converts to a toddler bed too. I <3 Craigstlist a lot.

And the beginning of the brown stripe . . .

It should be noted that this room would not have been painted near as quickly without the help of Jake and Faith – you guys are awesome. Thank you for the help, we couldn’t have done it without y’all! You can see the quilt top (still no progress on that dang thing because of the lack of quilting foot!) and where the colors were pulled from. We took this picture before I finished cutting in the ceiling, windows and doors. It’s all done now and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out! Can you tell I’m not afraid of color? We just have to stop by Ikea on our way back home from Dallas next weekend and we’ll pretty much be done with the decor. I’ll post an updated picture once that happens!

Haha. It looks great though – tooo precious! And…so easy to grow into. Which…I assume…will be a VERY nice benefit to the crib AND the color scheme.
