I’m pretty sure little girls get all the fun Valentine’s stuff. I mean, dressing a little boy in hearts, pink and ruffles just doesn’t go over well. So when I saw this perfect V-day applique for boys, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So simple, so boyish and so cute!
Following the tutorial, I embroidered the eyes and the heart and then used some heat and bond to iron the pieces onto a blank onesie that I already had. I then straight stitched around the edges. Can’t say this is my best sewing I’ve ever done, but it got the job done, and I kinda like how wonky it looks.
And it’s back in the 70s here in Tejas so the short sleeves are perfect for our warm Valentine’s Day! Hope it’s a happy one for all of you!
