Hooray! My first quilt that is just for ME! I tackled the binding last weekend and now I spend good cuddle/reading time with my newest handmade creation:
And I didn’t realize that I was holding it upside down for this picture. . . oops. Silly directional fabric.
And of course, a close of of the handiwork, fresh from the dryer.
I still wish I had done a better job picking the fabric for the leaves to create more of a monochromatic feel (like the backing) instead of the eclectic feel that it has. But you know what? I love this quilt just as it is. My very first quilt just for me. Yeeeessssss.
