It’s that time of week once more – Toddler Tuesday! We have been spending bunches of time in the pool. Jude has finally figured out how to monkey walk and blow bubbles. We are well on our way to swimming, right? I’m pretty sure this kid would live in the water if I let him.

We also spent some time building a fort out of some sheets and light stands. It looks a bit like a circus tent, doesn’t it?

Jude thought it was so fun that all his stuffed animal friends had to go hang out with him in the fort. We will definitely be doing this again.

And we finally did another outdoor art project. I found this idea on pinterest and it couldn’t be easier. Cornstarch, food coloring and just enough water to make it have a paint-like consistency. Then you have chalk paint!

Here are Jude and his buddy Camp starting the painting process.

Once they figured it out, it turned into splatter paint time!

Two messy boys. I love it.

And here is the art they created! So perfect.

Such good friends, messy together! I’m sure they will make many more messes together in the future.

My kids are no longer toddlers but it’s such a great age. They take such pleasure in just about everything. What is it with little kids and water? Mine were the same – any time, any where, any puddle they loved to get wet! Now I have a dog that is just the same!

Ohhhhh my gosh we love forts in our house. Claire is obsessed with “going under” everything :)
