In case you don’t live in Austin (or Houston, San Antonio, Winchester, VA, Denver, CO, Northern Virginia, Kansasa City, MO, NYC or San Fran), Alamo Drafthouse is kinda amazing. It’s a movie theater where you eat and drink, but it’s also so much more than that (Quote Alongs, Sing Alongs, Master Pancake Theater. . . ). During the summer they offer free movies, called ‘Kids’ Camp’ for kiddos 3 and up. I hadn’t been brave enough to take Jude to a movie in a theater before, but I figured this would be a good first. We went to see Rango. It was mostly a success – we made it about an hour. But we had fun!
We also discovered a trampoline place 3 minutes from our house. Yeah. I wish I had known about this place a long time ago. Trampolines = good naps. He looked like this pretty much the whole time.
And just another example of Jude’s OCD. Organized the letters by color and type, then matched the fuzzies to them. This was totally unprompted.
