While on the craft retreat, I made some progress on Jason’s Slade sweater. It was the weirdest, most involved cast-on I have every used (the 2×2 tubular cast on) but I am impressed by the professional results (shown here with the waste yarn still in place)!
I started my mornings with coffee and knitting on the porch. So serene and calming. I really do think knitting should be prescribed for anxiety.
And I’ve made a bit more progress on the stockinette throughout the weeks since the retreat, trying to steal moments to calm my mind and knit here and there (the photo below is about two skein in). I am really enjoying using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed in Prussian Heather – the texture it’s creating is really lovely.
