garden update

And so we enter what is supposed to be yet ANOTHER record-breaking summer of heat in the ATX. We are lucky to have a few mature trees shading our house and yard so hopefully my garden will continue to survive with regular waterings. Things are certainly a-growing around here. 2011 Summer Garden

I know I haven’t posted much about it except for some hints about Jude helping me with the dirt, but I am still gardening. We built a new 4×12 garden bed so I could really plant some tomatoes this year! It was a pretty cheap bed to build – I just bought two 12′ lengths [...]

First Blackberry!

My little blackberry plant produced it’s first ripe blackberry! And it was delicious! Can’t wait for more.
